Well I guess I better give an update. It has been a busy week and a half here. Last week Marcus received word he was voted as one of the top ten for Homecoming King. We were all very excited about that and since then he has been busy with practices. Also Marcus and Cory tried out for the high school musical (Cinderella) and we were so happy when Marcus got the part of the Prince! He is very excited about it and will do a great job. Cory also got the part of the herald which is also double cast, and he is in Marcus' cast and has a few solos. The musical is scheduled for Nov 16-20. It has also been a busy week with Cory and Marcus both involved in hall decorations and homecoming activities. The Homecoming theme was "Get In the Game". Cory's class used the game Jumanji, and Marcus class used Clue. Both of their halls turned out so good and we took several pictures. I mostly helped Marcus with his hall and spent a couple of hours Fri night there and then Sat afternoon and night.

Friday was our anniversary and so in the morning we went to the Manti temple and did a session. We didn't tell grandma and grandpa we were coming and surprised them, so that was a lot of fun. Then I had to rush back to teach my piano lessons (I had 6 lessons-4 hours worth!) Then after helping Marcus for a while, Pop picked me up and the school and we went out to eat at the Loft. After that we went home to a quiet house. Dani was in Provo as you know staying with Abby and Gichin and having the time of her life-going to eat a sizzlers and just being spoiled. Brooke had been invited to go to California with her friend Cassie Erickson and her family. It was Cassie's birthday and her Mom told her she could bring a friend with her so she chose Brooke. They had a great time and we are excited to see Brooke's pictures. they spent a half a day in Las Vegas also and then just a day on the beach in California. I was happy to get everyone home however on Sunday night. Cory actually drove over with me to Nephi and met TJ, Shauna, Kait and Dani to bring Dani home. I wasn't sure about him driving all that way and the only bad part was the sun shing at us on the way home and Cory's passion to hug the shoulder of the road! He did great though and we got Dani home safe and sound. It was especially fun to see our sweet little Kait and we can't wait for this weekend!
Tonight was the homecoming assembly and it was a lot of fun. Although Marcus was not announced King, it was neat to see him up there with the other top ten looking so handsome. We are certainly proud of him and what a great young man he is.
