More Fall Fun

Brooke and Dani playing in the leaves one last time. They got a big pile, then jumped in it and played in it with their hoods up to avoid getting leaves down their shirts. Then they made a wonderful hut (just a big hole in the middle of the leaves lined with blankets. We added a couple of lanterns, card games and snacks and they spent a couple of hours having a grand time in the leaf house. They even wanted to sleep in it, but it was a little chilly outside.
Over UEA which was very late this fall, we went up to Oak City (it was suppsed to be the canyon but it was closed) and had a picnic with the cousins in the park, then headed to the sandhills for some fun times with everyone. Jerry's kids were there along with Jina nad her kids, and Furb and his. It was a lot of fun for Brooke, Dani and Cory.
Here is Brooke posing for a picture with her best I'm cool look.Brooke was digging out the sand to make a hole and some of the sand would cave in a left little towers that made it look like a miniature Bryce Canyon. It was pretty cool.
