Labor Day Weekend

We had a fun filled labor day weekend, and little bit of labor too! We did fit it quite a few parties and playtime. Saturday we had a barbecue outside and had Wendy and Grandma and Grandpa come over. It was great to have Marcus home for the weekend. Cory had some friends over that night for games and they had a great time, one of his best parties yet! They are playing signs in this picture.
Sunday we ate dinner at grandma's after a nearly one month of not being able to because she wasn't well enough. It was nice to be there again for Sunday dinner.
Sunday after dinner, Brooke and Dani set up their own resaurant with all sorts of delicious playdough based food. The resaurant even catered to Sammy!
We had a gorgeous sunset that night. I tried to take a decent picture to show how pretty it was, not quite a pretty as the real thing.Monday morning we ate breakfast on our kitchen patio. It was very pleasant in the morning sun.
Dani, Brooke and I decided that Monday would be a play day. We hurried and did our work, then had a picnic, ate watermelon and had a spitting contest, rode bikes, then went swimming, even me! It was great fun. Later that evening we had ANOTHER party and ate dinner outside with Grandma and Grandpa B. and Wendy. Grandpa helped Cory roast corn on the grill and we had hamburgers to go with it. IT was delicious!
I had to take a picture of the garden so had Brooke and Dani pose for me in it.After dinner we say out in the front yard and had rootbeer floats and homemade oreo cookies before Marcus had to leave for school. What a great weekend!
