The next day was the 24th parade in Hinckley that we went to. We really made a haul in candy, completely filling up a bucket. There were times that some of the business floats actually through out entire bags of candy at a time! And it wasn't just all taffy either. It was great to have Abby down and she kept Dani and Brooke entertained all day. They had so much fun jumping on the tramp, swimming, washing Abby's car, and dressing up. Later on we had a barbeque with Grandma and Grandpa Burnham and Wendy. It stared to rain a little and so we had to finish our party inside. It was getting so late that we talked Abby into staying overnight and going back early the next morning. However that proved to be a mistake since it rained some through the night and early morning and on her way back to Provo she hit a wet spot on the road just past the cement plant and her car hydroplaned and slid off the road. It was a very scary thing for us and we are so thankful she was not hurt at all. Come to find out that the wide tires on her car don't handle wet roads well. She was able to drive her car back to Delta and stayed here for the day then left to go and pick up Gichin from the airport where she again had to drive in a big rain storm, but made it safely there.
