Grandpa's Garden

Grandma was in his garden at Thorp's the day before the fair, and Celia Harris came to get some vegetables and told him he should enter some things in the fair, so he did and won a sweepstakes ribbon! He was pretty thrilled about it although he only got about $3 for the prize and gave it to Rich.

His tomatoes were especially amazing this year. He started them in early spring from seed and kept them covered. They grew over 6 feet tall!
