Yay for Delta!

It has been a great week for Cory and Delta Soccer. We played at Juan Diego on Wednesday the 25th and had to do some position shuffling because our goalie is not illegible to play due to grades. But in spite of that we pulled off a 1-0 win. It was Delta's first region game and especially to beat Juan Diego on their home field is a great accomplishment. Cory played forward the first half, then Pedro switched him to sweeper for the second half. Delta scored with just 2 minutes left in the game and then our defense help on for the win. It was an awesome game! We brought Grandpa Burnham and Wendy with us and TJ, Jamie, Abby, Gichin, and Haddie all came to cheer for him.
Here is the Deseret News article about the game if you want to read it:

Brooke also had a very exciting game on Tues against Beaver. Beaver has been their only tough game which they won the last time they played. Beaver has only lost to Delta and this time, they almost beat us, but we came on strong at the end and won. Brooke made some great rebounds and scored a couple of awesome baskets. I didn't take my camera to the game so no pictures (can you believe it?)
